If you’ve ever engaged in conversation with me, you’d know that I enjoy the smell of peppermint so much that I chew peppermint gum, keep starlights in my pocketbook and desk (reminder that I need to refill my bowl), and use a Vick’s Nasal Inhaler during the day and at night to relax my mind.
When I’m low on my Vick’s, I’ll drop a few drops of peppermint or eucalyptus essential oils in my air diffuser and continue to get similar calming effects.
I knew I wanted to continue to blog just to get the words of life from my head, but still in the beginning phase of what I should focus on. There’s so many topics to write about but my thoughts have mainly been about parenting, natural hair, product reviews, and general lifestyle content of a woman living in New York City.

When the holiday season arrives, my Pinterest board : cocktails, entrees and sweets will get more in tune with the theme of the year. Here are a few fall recipes I’ve found and added to the board. I may eventually try out a few of these recipes. I think I’ll start with the apple cider. The ingredients in a pot on the stove on a low simmer, will have my apartment smelling like a fall season of spices. Yum!
