Ecoco Cannabis Sativa Oil Product Review

Cannabis Sativa Oil

I’m no stranger when it comes to Maryjane and Rick James too.  Although, it did take me a few years of watching The Wiz to notice the yellow brick road Dorothy eased on down, was actually a poppy seed. The things you notice with adult vision. Instead of getting your baggie, white paper, and munchies, the new phenomenon is to leave the high in 1970 and get the health benefits of the oils extracted from the plants.

CBD oil is the short form of the term cannabidiol oil. It is from the marijuana plant (Cannabis Indicas).  It is made from the flowers, leaves, and stalks of hemp and not from its seeds like hemp oil. You can not get “high” from using CBD oil. Even though hemp oil and CBD oil come from the same Cannabis sativa plant, hemp oil is derived from a strain that has a very low cannabinoid count. While CBD oil is derived from the strains being used for medical purposes.

I’ve recently tried some CBD honey from a small shop found at the Bryant Park holiday shops this past weekend.  It has been a short amount of time to notice a difference in my life but stay tuned.  If you’re interested in trying CBD products, I’d say go for it!  If you’re a little leery about ingesting oils by mouth, here is a product that I’ve tried on our hair – Ecoco Beauty Cannabis Sativa Oil line.

Another Disclosure – I was not able to get the entire line – they were sold out at the time when I was trying to do my haul – ugh! lol I will let you know which products we have and continue to use.

Cannabis Sativa Oil

Cannabis Sativa Oil has a very distinct aroma.  After I shampoo, condition and moisturize the hair, I applied the oil directly on a clean scalp and remainder on the hair.  It’s not a thick oil by any means, a little does go a long way.  If you use this oil expecting a shine, don’t! This oil does not provide any shine, but clean and conditioned hair will feel good and look healthy and moisturized.

Cannabis Sativa Oil, contains 25 PPM (parts per million) CBD Oil

Cannabis Sativa Oil Lotion

Cannabis Sativa Oil Lotion – I did not purchase.  The description states that this lotion will soften the skin while helping to heal redness and other scars on the body.  This properties of this lotion can relax, calm, and promote inner harmony.

Cannabis Sativa Oil Lotion contains 25 PPM CBD Oil

  • Hydrates

  • Softens Skin

  • Calms

Cannabis Sativa Oil Co-Wash

Cannabis Sativa Oil Co-Wash – I did not purchase.  May I say that co-wash is one of those things I don’t really get. However, a lot of folks do so here’s some details on the purpose of using this product.  According to ECCO Beauty, this co-wash will cleanse your hair without stripping it of its essential oils, while restoring moisture, controlling frizz and leaving curls with a healthy vibrant bounce.

For textured hair types.

  • Rehydrate

  • Controls Frizz

  • Preserves Color

  • Restores

  • Sulfate-Free

  • Paraben-Free

Cannabis Sativa Oil Texturizing Salt Spray

Cannabis Sativa Oil Texturizing Salt Spray is an interesting concept and may not be intended for textured hair.  A blend of sea salt and natural moisturizers will add volume, texture, a flexible hold and a natural matte finish to your hair.  Perfect for that undone beach look all year long.

For all hair types.  I’d consult with a professional to advise how to use this product properly.

Cannabis Sativa Oil Moisture Lock-In Conditioner

Wishing I was able to get this product online when I was purchasing other products on sale. This product is a creamy, hydrating formula that locks in moisture to leave your hair glowing, softly scented, and super soft.

For all hair types.

  • Volumizes

  • Moisturizes

  • Softens

  • Nurtures

  • Revitalizes

Cannabis Sativa Oil Natural Leave-In Conditioner

Cannabis Sativa Oil Leave-In Conditioner maybe one of the best leave-ins I’ve tried in a while.  It could be the amount of oils included in the base, this oil has been a weekly staple for taming my daughter’s textured coils.  Thinking about it, she hasn’t screamed and hollered about the detangling in awhile.  This conditioner can also be used as an intensive deep conditioner to restore, repair, strengthen, and revitalize your hair and scalp.

For overly processed, or damaged hair.

  • A blend of Cannabis Sativa and other exotic oils.

  • Natural oils help tame split ends.

  • Contains Vitamins A, D & E.

  • Intensive Conditioners mend & repair damaged hair cuticles.

CBD Oil Gel

I do not use gel.  I’ve tried to stay consistent with this regimen.  The closest that I will come to a gel would be custards and/or pomades.  Cannabis Sativa Oil gel is said to be a water-based formula that is infused with Cannabis Sativa Oil, Black Castor Oil, and Olive Oil to add moisture and therapy to dehydrated hair while sealing in a long-lasting style.

For all hair types.

  • CBD oil soothes the scalp while adding healthy lipids to hair

  • Black Castor oil promotes hair growth

  • Olive oil provides moisture and shine

  • Alcohol-free

CBD products—oils, tinctures, vaporization liquids, pills—are now widely available in stores and online.  Although CBD Oil is the new wave for health and wellness, there’s a difference between the products we order online and what you will receive when you go to a pharmaceutical establishment to receive products based on your need.  “If you’re making creams or sports drinks with CBD, you can say anything you like as long as you don’t say it will do such and such,” says Philip McGuire, professor of psychiatry and cognitive neuroscience at King’s College London.

You want to be careful and watch for these signs when purchasing CBD oil products online.

Have you tried any CBD products?  Let’s chat about it.
