Fall Recipes to Love

fall season

The best part about the fall season besides, going out and being in the crisp air, is the warm and toasty FOOD!! Who doesn’t love a crisp apple freshly picked during your apple-picking excursion, in your pie or dough pastry? I told my family that I wanted to try cutting open a pumpkin and try out some recipes, like a pumpkin pie or soup. I wasn’t too enthused with their reaction. Something about we do not make pumpkin pie – that energy is reserved for sweet potato pies. If I rolled my eyes any further than I did, I probably would need a braille keyboard to finish this post.

Looking for fall-inspired recipes on Pinterest, led me to many boards specific to this topic. Well, it’s not just for fall food recipes but for now, that’s what I’ve been seeing and adding to it. When the fall and holiday season arrives, the cocktails, entrees and sweets will get more in tune with the theme of the year.

Here are a few recipes I’ve found and added to the board. I may eventually try out a few of these recipes. I think I’ll start with the apple cider. The ingredients in a pot on the stove on a low simmer, will have my apartment smelling like a fall season of spices. Yum!
