I received a June IPSY Glam Bag. I know, I know I wasn’t supposed to be buying or signing up for any more subscriptions. See what had happened was, I came across someone’s link that allowed me to get a bag at a discount rate. So I said, that won’t hurt my pocket. Especially since being home during this quarantine, I’m not paying for outside activities – it’s justified in my mind. What is an IPSY Glam Bag?
IPSY was a mission to inspire individuals around the world to express their unique beauty. Born from a YouTube beauty movement, IPSY Glam bag was formed to support the self-expression with makeup. The Glam bag is selected sample-sized beauty products to try, and share experiences with friends.
There are different plans that you can choose to receive, of course, the higher the cost, the more content in value you will receive.

My first bag in a long while was this past June and while I create this post, I’m expecting my July bag. This will be it for me. Although I have personalized the bag as best as I could, I just don’t feel a connection to the brands when I open the bag or when I visit the select product Instagram pages. I think I get more excited about receiving the cute bag that the items come in than the products itself. Even with the price for the bag every month fitting into my budget, if I don’t see people on their social media page who I could relate to, then it could be a free bag of beauty items and I will not be able to convince myself to give the brand my monies.

I’ve never tried any subscription Bags. I would probably do the same and cancel after getting one or two. Seems like a wonderful thing to perk up any day. Great post!
