The first time I tried to use Nair, was in my very early twenties when my hair was coarser and everywhere. I knew the instructions said to leave the cream or lotion on for no longer than three minutes but, following the instructions all I’d have left is stinky hairy legs. I refused to try the cream again suffering with razors, hair bumps and discolorations until recently when I wanted to try alternative methods than an razor. I figured time has passed, let me try the lotion again. Even though many other brands were on the shelves, I was familiar with Nair and decided to try the long lost product again.
Upgrade Your Deodorant with Saige and Ivy
With illness and ultimately the death of my last grandparent, I started to review my own beauty regimens and the contents that I use on a daily basis. Switching toothpastes, deodorants, moisturizers and of course hair products. Some aren’t as easy to transition to (love my Colgate) but if my grandmother could use baking soda as a deodorant for decades, I figured I could look into a more healthy option for myself. I received Saige and Ivy in a self-care subscription box and was hooked.
